Do not adjust the star-shaped screws. Take the bulb out of the headlamp assembly. You might have to loosen some screws that hold the bulb in place and then turn it counterclockwise, i think, to unseat it. Now take the new bulb out of its packaging without touching the glass. To replace the plastic rivets remember the bigger ones are in the center of the car , make sure the pin is only inserted a little way, push the outer housing into the hole, when the outer housing is fully inserted into the hole, push down on the pin until it is seated. Do not touch the bulb with your hands because the imparted oil can screw it up. This should allow headlight assembly to come out. The oil from your body will cause the bulb to burn out.
