The vehicle was not repaired. The fuel pump started acting up we thought and suspected it was the reason for the stalling issue. All systems were affected and would not work. The controllers for the Dodge Ram 1500 can stop working if too old or handled too roughly, but the problems can easily be fixed with a simple troubleshoot. Was without truck for six months. Replacing the starter typically restores proper engine function. Replace the solenoid to correct the problem.
It has literally come to the point I am scared to drive the vehicle without my husband in it. It does open all switches and if I bypass the starter. I was travelling and when I returned to my truck it would not start again. Brakes grinding, front brake pads were metal to metal, rotor was scored badly, dealer replaced front pads and both rotors.
