Make sure you get the Cox Contour version and not the Comcast Xfinity ones. If the failures were hardware related you might want to check your power and ground. Carnelian I have renamed the post in order to reflect the correct device name. It misses on some of the functionality the Cox remote provides, but it's good enough to get most of what I need working. It does give you the option to postpone, but still a minor irritation. Thought someone over here might have an idea. Can we close this thread and start over? Self install they ship you the replacement unit 3day fedex and send you a prepaid label to return the old one. Updates are sent often so perhaps the bugs are being gradually eliminated. If you are using the same or a similar box, you may be in luck.
