It's also interesting to see how much Dagur has developed over the seasons. I always felt sorry for him the way no one wanted to hear his stories and made him feel bad and stuff, but this just changes everything. Info: Following the events of How To Train Your Dragon, the Vikings of Berk and their former enemies, the dragons, are living together in peace, but this co-existence is not as harmonious as one may think. Most of 13 just consists of watching Heather walk into what we know is a trap, and then try to get out of it with Snotlout and Johann. It explored the twins' relationship, but it just kind of dragged on and on. Also a nice plot arises.
And the traitor Johann makes me sick. It makes sense in retrospect, though. The dragons, being the wild beasts they yet remain, unintentionally stir up trouble time and again, leading to the more grouchy types among the Vikings to take exception to their presence. It's shown near the end when she mentions that he is a viking like no other, that he has a shield that can turn into a crossbow, a sword that can burn on his command, a night fury and that he's future chief I think I missed a few points, but that's the rough list of what she said while all he worries about is if she will like his gift. And on every such occasion, it falls upon Hiccup and his friends to work on a solution for the problems. All this time, we thought he was just some dumb, unassuming weakling trader, but it turns out he was actually a traitor. I must also say that it's kinda bad to see that Ruffnut rejected Throk I guess it's for the best if the writers want to line the series up with the movies.
I'm kinda sad we never got to see Oswald. . I also liked the part where Snotlout admits that Hiccup is always right, usualy Snotlout acts selfish and cocky, yet here he admits that they should both listen to Hiccup. It was fun though to look back and notice how much Dagur changed from before. If we follow up with any of those styles we could maybe add an obsession from Astrid's side which would make Hiccup pretend he died or something To get her to stop , that would be a lot more enjoyable to watch than what we saw Although I'm not implying that if we were to follow what happened in the Kim Possible series that we'd need to follow it right. I was not expecting that, but it puts a lot of his past actions in a new light.
At least Hiccup and Astrid realized something was up pretty early on. Speaking of Johann, what a twist ending. The latter is an episode where their genius friend invents a love ray that can make people fall in love with you temporarily which he used on his then-crush. See what I did there? The last two episodes were decent, though slow. When she gets romantic she runs after her to-be boyfriend I think and smooches him hard. .
